You've seen the news, right? "Stalk your friends with new Google tool"

Good, creepy, who knows? But all the cool new phones have GPS now, and the cool new Google Latitude application can share your location with your friends and family. This all is great, but how about for those times when we'd all like location awareness to be a bit fuzzy?

Well, that's what "I'm Getting My Nails Done" is all about, and we figured there is no better time than now to spread the word about our development progress.

Here's the mobile software that we are working on, with the latest and greatest tools of our age:

If at any time you would like your location to be "Getting My Nails Done" you
simply push the "5" key for 3 seconds, and your location will be
updated to the nearest nail salon or spa. When you are done with the "luxurious manicure and pedicure" simply push the "8" key for 3 seconds. That's it...a host of difficult life questions can now be avoided.

Subscribe to this blog to be on the list for the beta software version, available for testing when our paypal account has enough developer $$, or the government bailout check arrives, whichever comes first.

Need a little more explanation? Our development group is admittedly female-centric, 25-45, LA regional, some with augmentation, all able to appropriately wear fantastic shoes...so we will be testing our primary use case:

1. Go to cash machine, withdraw $500 cash
2. Push "5" for 3 seconds
3. Go to 357 N Rodeo Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210... click here
for directions from the cash machine to desired location, compliments of Googlemaps (also available via cell phone with your Latitude service).

4. Call best girlfriend and tell her to call you and make sure you leave within 2 hrs
5. If cash is depleted prior to girlfriend calling back DO NOT USE CREDIT
CARD, leave immediately
6. Return to previous cash machine
7. Push "8" for 3 seconds
8. Manually post to Twitter with your phone, "I went to get my nails done today and my wallet fell out of my purse on the way in. Some enterprising
person returned the wallet but kept the $500 that I had for my (husband's, boyfriend's, girlfriend's) Valentine's Day present. God bless
whoever returned my wallet, but couldn't you have left me $50 for
my manicure? " (note, we are working to automate appropriate mobile updates for twitter, facebook and myspace to support all activities while "getting nails done")
